Simply amazing. Roger was able to play all the songs we wanted for our ceremony and made our day very special. His communication throughout was impeccable and was very accommodating as we had to reschedule due to covid. Our guests were very complimentary about him also. Would highly recommend his services to anyone.

 

Roger was amazing. He played at both our welcome drinks and during the wedding breakfast. He has a great variety in his repertoire including learning our first dance song. Incredible.

He completely made our ceremony playing beautiful music on his baby grand. We couldn’t have asked for more he was amazing! All our guests loved this part of our wedding and while we had welcome drinks he played outside. Just perfect!

We met Roger at our venue on a taster day and just couldn’t believe how fab he was we just had to book him. His piano playing is beautiful and perfect for a wedding. He is also just a very lovely human being! Thank you so much Roger for helping make our day so special xx

 

Roger made our ceremony even more special. We sadly had to postpone our wedding so many times once due to illness and twice to covid, Roger was excellent in working with us and determined to be there on our day. When we eventually got our wedding day there he was, making the ceremony so much more special. Our guests spoke so highly of him and how special he made what was already an emotional day. Roger has become family and is being booked for future events. He deserves this award so very much.

We had so many lovely comments on the relaxed atmosphere he created, as well as taking requests for certain songs that tugged on the heart strings!!

Roger even took the time to engage with one of our guests who has autism, he played a song for her and she hummed along - showing compassion and dedication to the service he provides.

Met with Roger before the event to discuss details . What a lovely warm chap, very professional with a wonderful choice of music for our special day . Nothing was to much trouble. First of all from the moment we saw roger playing at the wedding fayre at Falmouth hotel, me and my new wife knew we had to have him playing at our wedding at the Alverton manor, everything we wanted from him he did brilliantly he added the touch of class we wanted for our day plays like a angel and a really great bloke as well will highly recommend him to everyone.

 

Roger is a true gent! We were taken in straight away when we attended a wedding fayre and thought his style was completely unique for a wedding in Cornwall. Especially with his baby grand piano. Sierd and I were recommended Roger Miners for our wedding ceremony & breakfast in St Ives on 6th May 2018, and haven't looked back! He was outstanding in every way from pre-wedding communication and flexibility on song choices to his excellent on-the-day performance which all my guests were raving about. He really made our wedding!

 

Roger has known my now wife since she was 3 years old. His extra attention to detail in making sure our day was the most perfect day was astounding! I had a secret song to sing and he didn't even tell the neighbours about it! He will do whatever it takes to ensure your special day is indeed special.

 

Roger thought about every single song before playing it and how it related to our lives. We were so lucky that he could attend both the ceremony and the the reception on a personal and professional level. He really did make our day even more special.

 

Roger learned a couple of new pieces of music for our wedding, of which we could not be more grateful for!  All of the music was played so beautifully and we had so many nice comments from guests about it being a lovely touch.  My young godson was very interested in Roger and his piano throughout the wedding breakfast, this didn't phase Roger at all and he was so good with my godson!  I'd really recommend Roger to anyone getting married.

 Roger made our day extra special by going that extra mile. He became part of our day, not just by playing the piano for our ceremony but by being a friendly guy who made everyone feel at ease. He learned a new song especially for my husband and played all our favourite songs, some by request but also just by chance! He is an excellent musician and I would highly recommend him for this award.

 

Our wedding day is still a year away however Roger has been incredible. He has been in contaxt regularly, taken a genuine interest in us as people and bent over backwards to be available to get our families involved in the selection of suppliers. we can't wait for our special day and now can't imagine it without Roger.

Roger is so friendly and put me at ease right from the start of our initial meeting. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with what music he was playing at our special day. Our guests were so impressed and Roger created the perfect ambiance for our ceremony and welcome drinks- we were sad to see him go it went too quickly!

 

Roger played for our ceremony and afternoon reception. He was the ultimate proffesional from the beginning, a fantastic pianist and a genuinely nice person. All our guests commented on how good he was. We cannot thank Roger enough for his part in our day. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was just going to play some back round music at our reception but my fiancee Rebecca found Roger at a wedding fair.  Every person we spoke to said how good and lovely Roger was and so it proved to be.  He met us beforehand at the venue to discuss our requirements and what he could offer.  I wanted to give him more direction but was so busy in the run up to the wedding that we just left him to it.  He was fantastic!  He plays beautifully, tempo and volume perfect.  Sometimes you forget he is there because it is just so seem less, then you stop and listen and are just thankful you got him to play.  He played the Grand Piano in Epiphany House main room then his own Baby Grand in the reception marquee.  He also took some photos which he has been kind enough to share.  I would definitely recommend Roger to anybody wanting a quality pianist and hope we have an occasion when we can book him again.  Thank you Roger
